MARCUS MACAPINLAC
Marcus Macapinlac is an aspiring art director based in Toronto with a background in photography, content creation, and graphic design. Marcus ties all of his expertise together under the name, Macka.
Beginning his creative journey in 2018, Marcus worked as a graphic designer for companies such as Wilson BIA and Humber Polytechnic. In 2022. Marcus moved to expanding his skill sets as a creative whilst completing his degree program at Humber (BoCa). He dove into the photography world, working as an event photographer and sharing his personal photography on his Instagram page. Marcus has since then graduated his advertising program with honours, stepped into the world of videography and video editing, and is working as a freelance creative, leading content production for various clients such as Riot Games, Red Bull, Magic Scoop and more!
When Marcus isn’t tackling the pressures of the creative world, he enjoys playing video games competitively and with friends, going by his IGN (in-game name) Macka. He embraces his competitive spirit inside and out of video games and is passionate about sharing his creative endeavors with others. When his creative juices are running low, Marcus will often use anime, film , and music to fuel his inspiration to create impactful work.
As a result of Macka's extensive experience competing in team-based esports, Marcus knows what it means to be part of a team. He is a team player, one who prioritizes his team's energy and morale to increase productivity and efficiency in the workplace.
