Hardcore gamers all relate to those days that feel like an endless cycle of boredom. Unmotivated to spend their time grinding their most played video games, feeling stuck in a loop of 'doom scrolling' for hours alongside their friends in a Discord call with seemingly nothing else to do.
With a lost motivation to play their main game, who will save them from the 'doom scroll'?
Introducing: Shuffle Your Play
An expansion on PC GamePass' "Surprise Me" button that brings a new way for hardcore gamers to play. The heart of this campaign is to reignite the discovery across the less casual, more serious player base that may have forgotten what made them fall in love with video games in the first place.
Working with Xbox Canada under the supervision of industry-leading ad agency, SALT XC, our team was tasked with creating and developing a case study video that would recap a marketing campaign for Xbox's subscription service: PC Game Pass.
Although this was a speculative project, the client was pleased with our work; earning our team a gold award for the best pitch and implementing features of our campaign into their service.
